We will see if the Dems make gay marriage part of their party platform. And we will also see how many Dems down ticket embrace it. I suspect that many will distance themselves from Obama not only on that issue but others.

Obama has now made the Dem Party officially the gay marriage party. Despite the phony polls that show the majority of Americans favoring it by a slim margin, the real poll is the ballot box. Everytime (save one in AZ that was later reversed) gay marriage is on the ballot, it loses--NC being the latest example.

Obama's support of gay marriage further isolates him as being someone who does not identify with the values of the American people. He is a radical and an outsider. That should be the narrative leading up to November. Most Americans don't want to be transformed whether thru Obamacare or gay marriage.
