Who the hell hopes for disaster?

I don't hope for a car wreck, but I buy insurance. I don't hope for a house fire, but I have fire extinguishers.

A prudent man prepares.

Hoping for? There is a difference between hoping and preparing, my friend.

I did nothing to “prep” for Y2K, you know why? That was a stupid computer glitch that could take care of itself.

But there is nothing wrong in preparing for social upheaval - especially when history has shown this is the best choice.

If you don’t like that, then don’t prepare. Laugh at us when nothing happens or BEG us for help when something does.

You're starting to be a jerk now...no-one is hoping for bad things to happen.

Go away.

That’s ridiculous.

If you have Homeowner’s Insurance do you hope your house gets destroyed?

New Orleans showed how great the community is at getting together.
