If you are a modern american and can't get 750 gallons a month of clean water, minimum, you are going to die. Mostly out of ignorance, but they will.

Water can't be stored except for short duration because of the fundamental logistics. I do store water for tornados/wind events, but only 3 days worth. I can also tap fermenters, etc... for yummy flavored water.

After that, I purify and supply my own from local resources.

But you have to have water. It comes right after air.

And bad water is worse than no water. It will kill you quicker.

Bugging in 250 gallons of water should last us about 50 days as when camping we use about five gallons a day I know because I haul it when the tank is empty. The water in my tote migh at worse go ‘flat’, but that can be fix by just dumping it from container to container.
