The main problem I would have here is heat during the Summer. I have plenty of water around me and I have enough food for several months tho I would get tired of spam, rice, and beans.

I have a couple of generators. They would run my window unit, but not my central ac for a few days after a hurricane etc. but not permanently.

I have no where near the guns I want but actually more than enough for any purpose. More .22 rimfire including magnum, than I will ever use, also more 12 gauge. I only have a few boxes of 20 gauge.

Adequate supplies of 9mm and 40 S&W but only a few boxes of .380.

I only have around 200 rounds of 8mm Mauser and that is almost all corrosive but it will still do the job. More than adequate supply of 6.5X55 and most of it is either Norma or Lapua match.

I need more 30-06 and more .243 but with the others I will get by. Also I have more pellets and pellet rifles than I could ever possibly use.

Every other thing I can think of is more than what I need and most of it just from things I have accumulated over the years.

I do wish I had more gasoline tho.

"I do wish I had more gasoline tho. "

I'm stock piling 20 pound propane tanks.

Unbelieveably, I bought two full tanks yesterday at a garage sell for $15.00 total for both. No kidding. The guy selling them does foreclosed HUD Housing 'clean-outs' and sells the stuff he cleans out...these two tanks were included. I have about 25 now. The gas does not go bad over time.

In a humid area fans would keep you cool enough and in dry areas wet sheets hung in front of a window with a breeze or a fan.

I’ve run an AC for two weeks on a generator, but if it’s a real SHTF just get used to the heat. AC is not a necessity.
