I’ve never done any food prepping, so could someone tell me if this is a decent product at a decent price? Thanks.

Kartographer or ChocChipCookie would probably have the best advice. I pinged them to this thread.
My opinion is, don’t buy it unless you are willing to eat it up slowly over the next couple of years.
In other words, I think it’s wiser to buy foods that you’d eat anyway. Cans of corn, cans of pineapple, cans of tuna, for example, all get eaten up pretty quickly here. Same with rice and flour and canned milk.
So I’d stock up on those and similar items. Then, eat a bit of it each week, and replenish from behind.
Otherwise, you are out $4,000 for that 9 month kit that contains a bunch of food no one in your family wants to eat unless a major disaster occurs. That, it seems to me, is a huge waste of money.

$3200 for 9 months might be OK, but most likely ONLY in a very limited situation, like being stranded on a mountain
or island.
In case of civil disruption, however, it would be unlikely that you would get to use it, unless you have a private army to protect you.
YMMV, but I just extras of foods I normally buy. If you have the money, then I’m sure the kits are fine. I’d rather eat “normal” foods during a crisis.
