Nancy is a Patriot. She used to post quite a bit on ARM (American Resistance Movement).
Though she posted little on the legal case (for obvious reasons) I am familiar with the story. And with the background.
Last I had heard she won a default judgment,, but don't know if she ever got anything.

Many people have been asking for case updates, and quite frankly, nothing exciting has happened yet. The case is proceeding, and there are no major developments. Here’s some procedural updates:
The Southampton Town Attorney is no longer handling the case. The town hired the law firm of Devitt, Spellman and Barrett LLP, a very well-known and prominent commercial defense law firm, to represent the Town of Southampton and Robert Iberger.
All discovery has been ordered to be complete by March 16, 2012, All dispositive motions filed by March 30, 2012, and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for April 27, 2012. If discovery stays on track and there are no settlements, a trial should be scheduled for this summer.

It seems pretty outlandish to me, too. There are a few things that strike me as odd:
In an attempt to prevent the lieutenant from damaging the camera, Nancy removed her memory card, which Lieutenant Iberger confiscated
Huh? How does removing the memory card prevent the guy from damaging the camera? Also, if the policeman took the camera, how could she thereafter have removed the memory card?
Lieutenant Iberger demanded that Nancy remain where she is, and he refused to allow her to leave...aimed at Nancy Genovese and her 18 and 20 year old sons who had come to the scene at this point to help their mother
How did her kids get there? The policeman who is denying this woman her rights is going to let her call her kids and have them come down? This makes no sense at all.
Nancy was questioned on the side of the road for approximately five to six hours, from about 6pm until midnight, denied food or water, and denied the opportunity to use a restroom, all without having received any warnings as to her rights.
This seems incredible.
During the first hour of questioning, Lieutenant Iberger searched Nancy’s vehicle, without her consent
A search incident to arrest--even an unlawful arrest--is perfectly lawful.
Her wallet contained approximately $13,000 in cash, money she was holding to pay tuition that day for her son’s college and her daughter’s Catholic school tuition. Deputy Carlock refused to allow her sons to take her bag, and ordered her to leave it on the front seat of her unlocked vehicle, even after being informed of the value of its contents. When Nancy’s sons objected, Deputy Carlock threatened to arrest them if they touched it, and ordered them to leave the scene. Not knowing what to do, they left.
Also incredible. If she was being arrested, her personal possessions would have been taken to jail with her and her car would have been towed--particularly since evidence was found in the car, a further search would have been conducted at the police station.
While in her holding cell, Nancy Genovese was interrogated by Suffolk County Undersheriff Caracappa without receiving any warnings as to her rights. Her requests to speak to a lawyer were ignored. Following her “interrogation”, Undersheriff Caracappa informed her that she was being arrested and charged with “terrorism.”
Just doesn't seem believeable in any way, shape or form.
The Legal Aid Attorney assigned to Nancy spoke with the Deputy and Undersheriff, and due to the conversation, directly afterwards informed Nancy that he was no longer her attorney, and that he was going to ask the court to place her on suicide watch.
Just can't happen. The judge assigned the legal aid attorney to her case. He can't resign without the judge's permission. This is just false.
There, another woman who identified herself as a nurse administered, without Nancy’s consent, two injections into Nancy’s arm.
Not credible.
