I know some will take your point 1 as a joke. But way back when, the 2nd amendment was meant for any man-portable and operated weapon. Including cannon on private ships. Not sure if there is a one-man nuke or not. :)

Not sure if there is a one-man nuke or not. :)Of course there is. And if you can afford the ammo at $2.5 mil per round I think you should be able to carry one. You must also pass an IAEA hunter safety course too. ;^)

Those ships with their cannon were the 18th century equivalent of thermonuclear warheads in today's theatres of combat.
They were all privately owned.
