A thick white band across the forehead is typically a sign of extreme fear. The excitation of nerves in the skin interfere with the circulation of the surface capillaries and shut down blood flow, and the skin turns from normal light pink to very white, i.e., died of fright.

Let me tell you if you have ever seen someone die from a massive heart attack, the fear in their eyes is too much to bear.
