Bully story a black eye for Mitt Romney
"Straight-laced and squeaky clean Mitt Romney
must show hes not the teen bully critics now say he was,
if he hopes to limit the damage from a published report
on his prep school days that paints him
as a cruel and possibly homophobic prankster
who once pinned a vulnerable schoolmate down
and cut his bleached-blond locks
....
Republican consultant John Feehery called
the Washington Post report troubling
for Romneys presidential bid....
For independents, its a troubling story.
... They dont like bullies, and anti-bullying has
become a issue on the national stage,
In the context of a close election,
little things like this can matter,
Romney, in a hastily arranged radio interview yesterday,
..... said he did not remember the alleged Lauber incident.
I participated in a lot of hijinks and pranks
during high school and some may have gone too far...."
Romney told Fox News Brian Kilmeade.
....
Some of Romneys prep-school pals
said they were stunned by the Post report."

It’s AMAZING who comes out of the woodwork to make allegations against Romney from 50 years ago, yet there is NO ONE, not a teacher, headmaster or fellow student, who has come forward with ANY reminiscences of the Kenyan whatsoever, from kindergarten to law school!
” a black eye...”
BLACK? What they talkin’ about, BLACK?! RACISTS!!!/s;)
Comment #1 “removed by moderator.” Don't see that too often...
Diogenesis:
It you had read the article (or if the editor had read it before turning it into an one-way hit piece) you would have noticed that a classmate of Romney's, a self-identified liberal lawyer, basically says he finds this hazing event to be “hard to pull off”...subtext likely a big fat lie...just like account of Barry living with a woman and the Barry-voting landlord failing to notice Barry ever once passing through a highly visible part of his own home to get to the woman's room.
BTW, the woman who was the black girl in Barry's HS class that he supposedly bullied denies that it ever happened. More smoke and mirrors all aroung from Barry and the MSM.

Some of Romneys prep-school pals said they were stunned by the Post report.
Who knew life would take this unusual turn? said Bill Schlecte, now a lawyer and self-described liberal. He said he did not recall the hair-cutting incident, and said such a stunt would have been hard to pull off at the no-nonsense academy.
You had a very rigid environment: study hall from 7 to 9, lights out at 10 oclock. There wasnt a lot of opportunity to do the things that people would have the opportunity to do in a public high school.

Romney could use this right up to election day. He starts by releasing his grade school transcripts. Then high school, SAT scores, college exams, college transcripts , selective service records, right up to every law he signed while Govenor of Ma. Each and ever time he releases one more bit of information at a press conference, he asks Obama to do the same. He makes this a weekly event. It will force the press to ask for Obamas records which he will NEVER release.
You can stuff the leftist-tactics: comparing a homosexual with someone who has Down's Syndrome? F.U. The difference is, kids with Downs Syndrome can't help themselves. There are a lot of sexually confused kids out there, and leftists want to get them over to the dark side. Trying to make homosexuality "normal" is their agenda, with gay marriage, etc. Maybe you would rather see Romney endorse Gay marriage too. Clearly you are okay with their immoral agenda. All he did was snip a locket of another kid's hair. Maybe it helped the kid try harder to adjust his appearance and sexual choices to be more normal - YES NORMAL!
Nice to get my FU from a fellow freeper today on mothers day. Thanks.
Yes, kids should be off limits. Boys that are shy , small. Slight, or effeminate can’t help it any more than a kid ith Down Syndrome. No kid deserves to be attacked.
I stand up for all innocents, not for adults or gay agendas. Over the last 100 years, most of the kids who have been tormented by classmates have not actually been homosexual. But even if they were, how is it ok to torture them? Kids might not know their sexuality as kids. What difference should it make?
Just snipped a lock of his hair? Would that be ok if someone did it to you?
Normal? So anyone veering from the median is fair game for you? Someone less intelligent? Someone with a different ethnicity from his classmates?
