Amen!
Maybe Star can hang around awhile?
The Movie Reviews
“The Butcher, the Chef, and the Swordsman” with Masanobu Ando, You Benchang, Liu Xiaoye, Ashton Xu, Kitty Zhang Yuqi, Mi Dan.
This Chinese fable is about a magic meat cleaver made from the swords of champions intertwined with a love-lost story. It goes for slapstick comedy in the beginning, but to my American eyes, that was just annoying. However, it redeemed itself with a much more interesting story for the remainder of the movie. Still only got three stars.
“Underworld: Awakening” with Kate Beckinsale, Stephen Rea, Michael Ealy, Theo James, India Eisley, Charles Dance. We have seen all the Underworld movies so far, and we just had to watch this one. It did not disappoint. Selene awakens after being kept drugged for twelve years and escapes to discover that the werewolves and vampires are losing a war of extermination with the humans. She must discover and foil the plot to use vampire DNA mixed with the lycanths to make super werewolves. It was great, and we gave it four stars.
