I went to a MD for over a year to resolve a lumbar problem and it was just braces and pain pills. He recommended a Chiropractor and he fixed it in the first visit and strengthened that area after a few more visits and recommended exercise.

I was told that stomach muscles have a lot to do with back support. Which didn’t help me any with herniated disks. lol

That’s very interesting! I know from x-rays I have scoliosis, but I can stand up pretty straight now, so something else is going on.
