I would say liberals are a bigger problem than the economy.
Urban heat islands, aka 'rat nests, are about 5 degrees warmer than the countryside. What will happen is the 'rats will die off first resulting in a climate negative feedback. The survivors will be mostly conservatives. Being that leftists tell us Earth is overpopulated I'm not seeing any down side here.
