I use african sometimes and native american also. Recently I put “human” on a jury duty form, I was not called...
I work with a guy whose blonde haired blue eyed wife was born in South Africa. She recently became a US citizen - he now tells everyone he is married to an African American.
Well, nearly all of us non-pure-blooded Africans are about the same percent Neanderthal as Elizabeth Warren claimed to be Cherokee. So let’s all be members of the “Neanderthal” minority!!!!
Elizabeth Warren is “Neanderthal”, too! Ugh, cave-sister!
What’s actually going to destroy the system is DNA testing, I think, and some sort of lawsuit.
If enough blonde blue-eyed people can be found that have a scrap of sub-saharan African or Native American DNA, and apply for race-based scholarships and sue when they are denined, and can get it into court, the system is going to collapse of its own absurdity.
You are hereby awarded a 3 point bonus.
It’s all so stupid. I have one HLA type that is only found in Africans and some Jews. Deep down we are all mutts.
Getting married in Virginia - the form had a place where I was supposed to check off the “race” of myself and my wife.
When left blank - the “helpful” civil servant marked “Caucasian”.
That was no doubt the official form that got Mr. Loving in trouble when he married his pregnant girlfriend who was black - leading State officials to break in on his honeymoon, arrest them, and then sentence them to exile from Virginia.
Same here except I use "Native American" And I have a birth certificate to prove it as I was born in Chicago.
Both of my grandfathers spoke French. I am from Louisiana. Read up sometime how the Acadians were driven from Canada by the British. Not a pretty story.
There was a really funny editorial/essay a few years back hashing over this very thing.
So... African-American doesn’t just refer to skin color? No?
So... Is a white person born in Africa that emigrate to America an African-American? No? Really?
So... How about a black skinned Caribbean born person in America, are they African-American? Yes? Really?
You forgot to add that the game was in Cleveland.
I read an article last night that marriage licenses began in an effort to prevent “mixed marriages” and that George Washington and Abraham Lincoln did not have marriage licenses. The state is going to overreach on all this stuff and it will blow up in their face.
It worked for “ter-ai-za”
How can a person say they are Caucasian if their ancestry doesn’t trace back to the Caucus region?
I know a girl who is offended when people call her African because she is Caribbean.
Racists almost always want the power of the government enforcing their prejudices.
Gun control was also started as a way of keeping guns from Blacks.
Excellent article on how Socialism fosters racism.

Capitalism and the market economy encourage racial, ethnic, and religious tolerance, while supporting a plurality of diverse lifestyles and customs. Heavily regulated or socialist economies, in contrast, tend to breed intolerance and ethnic persecution. Socialism leads to low or negative rates of economic growth, disputes over resource use, and concentrated political power-all conditions which encourage conflict rather than cooperation. Ethnic and religious minorities usually do poorly when political coercion is prevalent. Economic collapses - usually associated with interventionism-worsen the problem by unleashing the destructive psychological forces of envy and resentment, which feed prejudice and persecution.
While discrimination is present in societies of all kinds, discriminators must pay pecuniary costs for indulging their prejudices in a market setting. Even the prejudiced usually will trade with minorities; bigots attempt to oppress minorities by socializing the costs through government action, but bigots usually are less willing to bear these costs themselves. Repeated commercial interactions also increase the social familiarity of customs or lifestyles that otherwise might be found unusual or alien. Sustained economic growth alleviates political and social tensions by creating more for everybody.

That’s crazy. My friend is full blood native american and she has blond hair and blue eyes. I look at her and don’t see indian. It was a surprise to me.
I totally agree. I know a blond blue eyed part native American who gets gorgeously tan in the summer, but I wouldn’t have known about the native American part if she hadn’t told me.
And He has made all nations of men of one blood to dwell on all the face of the earth, ordaining fore-appointed seasons and boundaries of their dwelling.
Acts 17:26
(from Seinfeld episode)
“Hi, I’m Donna Chang”
“You’re not Chinese!”
“No...I’m from Long Island”
“Well that changes everything...I’m not taking advice from some girl from Long Island!”
I have been checking homosexual, black, female. Might as well go for all the goodies!
