I’ve thought about this quite a bit...and yes he’s wrong. It is not the race of the group that’s the problem...they are people, just like you and me. It’s the US Government attitude toward one particular race, leaning too heavily to rectify true sins of the past, that has caused the problems.

But the issue you raise remains and quite frankly is, beyond who is the current resident of the White House, the most burning domestic question of the day. I say this because it is my firm belief that if we are able to remove the current resident then we can have economic improvement in the future. I’m not so sure we can say that about where we are racially as this administration has taken us from bad to worse on race relations.

It seems to me that we have to get back to the principles that made this country what it is: Opportunity for Achievement through hard work...and that is opportunity for all. However, the reverse is also true. If you are not willing to sacrifice to achieve then you will not succeed. And we ought to leave it there...and let the chips fall where they may. There will be pain, civil unrest, and death. But in my opinion it is the only way back to where we need to be.

Sorry to be so long winded...

Not long winded at all.

I live in a great place and sometimes when recounting conversations with people I have met here, I try to describe them to my husband and I will very often get stumped on race. I forget what color they are. But I remember their gorgeous dress, their smile and laugh and how they made me feel like we have known each other for years.

This president, his ‘wife’ and Eric Holder have caused more harm and destruction to racial relations than any hate group could ever imagined on their worst day.
