There was even a line where Leonidas said (speaking of the Athenians) "And if those philosophers and boy-lovers have found that kind of nerve, then..."

I really thought “the 300” was a silly movie. I just don’t care for the “comic book” movie genre. But I realize that the event was “real” history, which tends to be exaggerated by those who write it (the victors).
