He’s 80 years old and has been there about 40 years! Good grief, these losers in congress are power hungry egomaniacs. They aren’t normal. Except for a few.

Dick Lugar. Makes me think of a German handgun shaped like a penis.

It gave me great pleasure to mark my ballot for Mourdock yesterday. I just wish there had been an allowance to write in Sarah Palin’s name for President.

Apparently Lugar's much-vaunted civility is a courtesy he extends only to his left; turning to his right, he becomes a churl. This perfectly describes most Republicans on the hill. Especially McQueeg.

Now we see if Mourdock gets treated any better than Christine O’Donnell was back in 2010 by the GOP-e.

But, but, Peggy Noonan told us how important it was to keep good ole Lugar because he was the mature, sober leadership we needed in these difficult times. Did Peggy have it wrong? I don’t see much maturity in these post primary loss comments. I’m sooooo confused.

This is how you change the GOP. NOT with third party spoilers.

...but his embrace of an unrelenting partisan mindset is irreconcilable with my philosophy of governance and my experience....This is not conducive to problem solving and governance.
Well, Dick, after decades with legislators like you in DC, with your 'philosophy of governance', what have you accomplished, other than to help drive the country over a fiscal cliff and enable an ever metastasizing authoritarian federal government to expand far beyond its' constitutional constraints? I'm sure you are so proud of yourself...most sociopaths are.
BTW, Dick, GFY....and GOOD RIDDANCE!

So now it is finally clear. It wasn’t how, when or how much Money Lugar spent. It was not a flaw in the candidate. It is a rejection of his entire line of Liberal BS that the people rejected.
This does not bode well for RINO’s

It will be interesting to see how far left Lugar will slide in the waning months of his life long career sucking the gov’t teat. I predict he’ll be a rubber stamp for the Kenyan Kid.

rejectionist orthodoxy I pray that Mourdock follows his "rejectionist orthodoxy".

24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

This is not conducive to problem solving and governance. And he will find that unless he modifies his approach, he will achieve little as a legislator. If nothing else, he got you out of the Senate. That's good for at least 6 years of good will.

I had little to no opinion of the man until I merely glanced at his statement. There seemed to be so many petty words and phrases that it overwhelmed me to the point of being repulsed by Lugar. Good riddance.
