I didn't click on the link. Does the author mention whether or not Lugar called and congratulated Mourdock and pledged his support in the general election.
Or, conversely, did Lugar go all Lisa Murkowski and announce he will run as an independent?

whether or not Lugar called and congratulated Mourdock and pledged his support in the general election. I thought I heard on the radio this AM that he did say he would support Mourdock in the general election.
