President Barack Obama might not be the only Democratic presidential candidate to receive a national party delegate in West Virginia. Keith Judd might receive one, also. But, in order for him to be represented at the Democratic National Committee convention in North Carolina, he must win at least 15 percent of the vote. The Charleston Gazette reports:
Under state and national Democratic Party rules, if little-known Democratic presidential candidate Keith Judd secures 15 percent of the vote in today's election, he will technically be entitled to have at least one delegate from West Virginia at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C.
Who is Judd, though? "Inmate No. 11593-051 at the Federal Correctional Institution in Texarkana, Texas, where he is serving a 210-month sentence for extortion," the Gazette reports.
"Judd was able to gain access to the West Virginia primary ballot thanks to the state's comparatively liberal ballot access laws, which require only that candidates meet residency, age and any other eligibility requirements for the particular office, and pay the filing fee," the Gazette writes.
Already, Democrats are more than uncomfortable, trying to figure out how to deny Judd a delegate even if he receives the minimum percentage of votes.

43% now. Could you imagine if Obama loses WV to a FEDERAL PRISONER!
Maybe we could help Obama join him.
Holy crap. This has got to be the biggest story tomorrow.
Obama almost losing to a FEDERAL PRISONER. Hopefully the MSM run wild with this.
“King Putt”
LOL!
LoL.
Unless there is a mega-populous county that has not reported their results, I have a hard time believing that Judd doesn’t get close to 30% of the vote. For a third of Dems to vote for someone they’ve never heard of is telling. Now the national party will try to find a way to disqualify him and his delegate. All because they’re the party of inclusion *snicker*
Go inmate Judd. Heehee...

Elected Democrats going to jail is not unusual.
Here we have a con behind bars running from his cell.
Cool if he wins.
Double popcorn, please!

If I lived in WV, I might change my party to D so I could vote for this guy.
Okay, nevermind. I can't even type those words in jest!

42% for Judd.
Holy S*** this is really bad for Democrats. A guy in a federal prison, that NO ONE EVEN KNOWS ABOUT, is getting delegates. Obama’s gonna be sh***ing bricks.
This is hilarious.
Go Judd GO!!!
Sighs - and to think I once feared that with the Klintoons out of the White House, political cartoons would go bland.
Then, fools gave us Obama, and Pookie’s Toons is showing just how good American cartoonists can be.
And now Democraps and RINOs are showing us just how bad politicians can be.
;-)
And to think.. We could have a real conservative running against Obama...
This is some funny stuff though. Pass the popcorn.
