“So does this end this recall on Walker?”

Sadly, no. This was just a primary. The outcome on the Republican side wasn’t in doubt. On the Dem side, it looks like the somewhat stronger candidate, Tom Barrett, is pasting the (ostensibly) union-backed and crazier one, Kathleen Falk.

Walker has more votes than Democrats combined. Walker 93,020, Barrett-Falk 76,082. 13% of vote in. Shows a large Republican turnout.

lol, I've been noticing that and this primary was supposed to actually be for the Democrats. I doubt if they will even get as many votes as they got signatures. They were unable to get as many signatures as Walker's total votes in the original election! Strange how that can trigger a recall. ;-)

Of course the solution to that is simple. Utilize ATM machines as voting machines. They are already secure and can handle the security. Most everyone knows how to use them. They are more plentiful than polling places, have voting over 3 days. Pass a law that voter fraud is punishable by capital punishment. If you think about voter fraud undermines the populous confidence in the very mechanics of the republic. Should hold the same punishment as treason, which does the same exact thing.

It would behoove the administration to advise the union loyalists to back down and leave Walker in place.

If there is a recall in November and people vote down the line, it is very possible Obama loses Wisconsin.

Unintended consequences at its best.
