It sounds like she is basically running in the same district but that it changed locations and merged with another. She doesn’t need to move, but she might into the new district as her house is now in the 4th.

Also what happened is they pairied her up with another incumbent, a democrat. But she is still with half the original 6th district she ran for in 2007 to 2010. But it is more liberal/progresive the new district 6.

Not finding much else about her chances to win, what is going on, etc... Sounds like the focus has not been on her since December.

If it had been anybody else winning the republican presidential nomination, except you know the names, she would have tried to possibly help out more and get into the cabinet/administration if they won.

I found another atricle that confused me a bit. That one made it sound differently the situation. Instead of the 6th district moving into Betty McCollum’s area and Michele Bachmann wanting to stay in the 6th because she has the best chance to win their and thus going up against Betty McCollum, it made it sound that because her area was moved into the 4th due to a population shift that she would go where the 6th distrcit was because she does not want to face Betty McCollum and thus she has a better chance in the 6th without facing Betty. But who her democrta challeneger would be I don’t know. I doubt her 2010 opponent Tarryl CLark would run again.
