The constitution is for legal and Natural born citizens. Not for those who come here illegally and break our laws.

The “Conicted illegal” should have been shipped back to his country of origin after a severe flogging and some water boarding.

This thread has just added to the
FreeRepublic "bang list" (firearms interest list) by adding the keyword "banglist".
Any time a firearms-related thread is created on FreeRepublic, please be sure to add the "banglist" keyword to it so that interested FReepers don't miss it. Just a suggestion.

That's because they're more anti-gun than pro-illegal.
It probably was a tough choice.

So now, you will have to show your citizenship papers to have a firearm?
If your papers are not in order, they will siege your weapon and deny you of your Second Amendment Rights.

You would think...right? There is a hush-hush case in progress right now against a BPA for violating an illegals constitutional rights, a case brought against the agent by the DoJ.

“Shall not be infringed.” There are no qualifications as to who might infringe or who might be infringed against. I am with the illegal on this one.
Gun possession should not be criminal at all, even for felons. The inappropriate use of a gun is the proper subject of law. The illegal’s illegal entry and/or persistence in illegal residency is certainly a crime and should be legally addressed. If the gun were stolen it would then be “stolen property” and should be prosecuted.

The constitution is for legal and Natural born citizens. The Constitution does not make that distinction except for qualification to hold the office of Presidency. You are also claiming that naturalized citizens, not being Natural Born should not have Constitutional Rights.

The Constitution does not make that distinction
So if "we the people" now includes illegal aliens (in your opinion), do you also agree they should be able to vote?

Illegals should have two rights. Either the right to spend the rest of their lives behind bars (still cheaper than them on the streets today) or the right to be shipped back where they came from.

Doesn’t the naturalized citizen fall under the term “legal”?
I stated that legal citizens are covered by the constitution.
Do you think that illegals have a constitutional right to keep and bare arms?

By the very act of crossing our borders illegally they are in fact felons and according to the laws felons are banned from owning or possessing guns.
Do you think that criminals should be allowed to own and carry guns?

Thanks
I wondered about this
The 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Denver ruled Monday that illegal immigrants have only limited protection under the Constitution.
So. By who or how is it decided which Constitutional rights illegal aliens do or do not enjoy?
