“...they held a secret meeting with the paper’s president, Steve Hills — without inviting executive editor Marcus Brauchli.”

“I do not like Brauchli. And I haven't liked him since I was a little kid and my mother made me work for him. And I'm President of the United States and I'm not going to invite any more Brauchli.”

Does anyone know the year(s) of when the “Pravda On The Potomac” had their largest circulation numbers?

Newspapers are dead.

Long live the internet, free (mostly) from liberal bias!

I made quite a bit of money from the Washington Post at one time. However, I’m glad I cut my financial ties and divested myself of all my WaPo holdings.

I delivered my last morning paper in 1960, at the age of 13, after having earned $20-$25 per week for three years.

Hey, don’t sneer; that’s BIG MONEY for a kid! (especially in 1958-60)

;-)

[I wonder if my leaving their employ had anything to do with their descent into terminal liberalism? Maybe I could have saved them, if only I’d tried harder to teach them the error of their ways..... NAAAAA!]

There are still a lot of Americans living in this country. Communism doesn’t sell with Americans.

“Socialism kills!”

Seems to apply to newspapers as well as nations.

Leftists have groomed an ignorant unschooled following, and then cry that no one reads their newspapers.

The social reader app is stupid. Why would I want to have everyone know which articles I am reading?

Now if the hotel/motel industry would stop propping up USA Today (Which easily rivals the Post and NYT in liberal bias) we might be able to move on and let REAL journalists take over. The problem for these papers is that the Dem circle may include the overly educated but it is also comprised largely the of welfare/criminal “give me my handout” population who are not inclined to actually read papers and keep up on current events.
