Does anyone out there have a good copycat recipe for the Hostess Ding Dongs?

Isn’t that just a flatter cupcake with all around frosting?
I had one of those a few minutes ago.

No, but I have a Roselyn Bakery copycat cookbook. A favorite Indiana(polis) bakery for years. Now gone. Kroger's still sells it. Probably from by copycat book.

I sure hope so! I have been known to eat an entire box in one sitting. My absolute favorite junk-food.
My oldest son has been with Hostess for 19 years. Maybe he can get the recipe before he gets laid off? If so, will ping you immediately.
