Agree..a good piece..thanks for posting. I wish the author would have addressed how the average Argentinain feels about the Falklands..will the Argies try again?
See the post from two days ago about a vid by an Argie athlete doing his training in the streets of the Falklands’ main town, with commentary about how “nuestras Malvinas” will be Argentine once again.
Geez, what else do the Argies have to be nationalistic about? Given that neighboring & prosperous Uruguay & Chile have about the same climate & ethnic mix, Argentine pride must be a tall order indeed.
