The paulbots are way in force tonight.
This selection is crazy.
Tom points out, “do you think Obama would support a split ticket”?
Well Duh
selection / election - right on both points...
It was a typo
Gnight gang!
Have a great week!
Nite.
As long as you leave it in your car you are legal. The link provided to Baylor’s policy is interesting. They are intentionally trying to deceive you into thinking that having a weapon in the car is illegal in the first few paragraphs then let the cat out of the bag in the last paragraph when they “recommend” you contact their security department to hold your weapon if you are commuting. Texas law specifically defines what the premise of an educational campus is. Your car is considered your premise- that is why the castle doctrine applies to one’s car.
My own view would be this. If I was going to keep the gun in my car I would NOT notify campus security- that would likely cause more trouble for you or they would mislead you (like their website does).
However I also don’t like to leave a gun in the car when I’m going somewhere it might be broken into.
Tough call, would depend on where I was going to be going after the graduation (straight home during daylight hours I’d leave the gun at home- if I was going out to eat that night I’d take it and hide it really well in the car.).
It definitely makes me think about sending my kids to college in Utah where they and their friends can defend themselves.
I could only listen a little over an hour; we had t-storms roll thru and I had to get “hatches battened down” and had to disconnect everything around 9:15 EST. Maybe I can find a replay somewhere, but I’ll be back next Sunday.
Again, mylife, thanks for the Ping!
Typical libs; but somehow it doesn’t surprise me. I’ll bet it’s in a drawer w/ correct 7-day date, but they did that to ruin your weekend on-purpose. They covered their asses, but peed on yours. Did you tell them you “needed it by Saturday 5pm”, close of business?
Thank you for your insight. Sorry it took so long for me to respond.
You can find a link to the podcast in my original post.
Got it, mylife; many thanks.
