Churchill didn't give up his values when allying with the devil (Stalin) against Hitler nor did he settle. He just played the best strategic move he had at the time. Hitler was a direct short-term invasionary threat. Stalin could be mitigated in the longer term. Sometimes the direct threat is so great, the alternatives make for strange beadfellows.

Ditto, except that I am Jewish. My hatred of Obama and his ilk and their goal of “transforming America” and my fear of what a 2nd Fauxbama term will do to this country far outweigh my dislike of Romney.

NOBODY gets everything that they want in politics. Sometimes you settle for what you can get now, and work harder and smarter to change the calculus for the next time. First stop a disaster, then work to perfect things. If your house is on fire, do you first put it out, or do you stand around complaining about someone being careless or the failure of the sprinkler?

Well said... anyone who does not vote for Romney shares responsibility for the more rapid demise of the America we knew prior to 2008! Obama must be defeated.... Romney won the nomination...for the sake of our Grandchildren and their’s Romney MUST take the next Oath of office in Jan 2013!

Same here! I am a Christian and a Patriot and I want to deny obozo the bragging rights of a 2nd term! I don't like Romney (I have said it here hundreds of times) but I WILL vote for him in Nov. for the afore mentioned reason!
