Entire square miles of forest in Colorado are denuded because of the lodge pole pine beetle infestation. It is a conflagration waiting to happen.
Not being allowed to thin forests and clean up all the dead fuel is why we have enormous fires.
The deforestration has been caused by the Forest Service and their dangerous policies - besides the FS has directly caused two of Colorado’s largest fires. They should all be fired!
