—It wolud be nice to have four more years to stock up on ammo then...guns are on the to do list for Barry if he wins.—

If we take the full congress he’ll have a hard time doing anything. The only reason he gets away with what he does is that the congress does not use their constitutional authority to slap him back into reality. With the R’s controlling it, they would, assuming the R’s have grown a pair since the Trent Lott days.

Considering the free hand Barry and his czars have worked with without much of a peep from the House I’m sure as hell not putting my faith in them suddenly saying enough is enough.

Good thought, but two points. First, the GOPe is unlikely to grow a pair and will sound a lot tougher than they will be, and second and most importantly: Obama is moving heaven and earth to marginalize Congress. He has established some sources of funds no longer subject to Congress (like the funding for the Consumer Financial Protection Agency), money paid back from bailouts, and the Fed purchases of debt; and he is ruling by regulation and decree and a super-majority in Congress would be required to even try and stop him. An Obama win in 2012 will end our present form of government de facto if not de jure. Look to Venezuela on how this can play out.

If they see Romney rejected in the General because of his liberalism and in spite of the specter of Obama as a consequence, just WATCH as those Rs "grow a pair" in order to save their own skins. It will have been proven clearly to Republicans in DC that being "moderate" or "liberal" is dangerous for their political health.

On the other hand, if Romney wins, they will have every reason to think it will behoove them to move "to the center," and Democrats will be hailed and praised for being so nobly bi-partisan when supporting Romney in his quest to "fix" ObamaCare to be more like what he continues to maintain is successful RomneyCare in MA; come up with the "right kinds" of cap-and-trade global warming regulation to "save the planet" and "be responsible"; going full-bore to force acceptance of open homosexuality in the military; making sure that we "compassionate" Americans will make abortion available on-demand to "poor" women who otherwise couldn't afford it; and appointing activist liberal judges to "adjust" laws properly for the most control over personal freedoms. THAT IS ROMNEY, and Democrats will look fabulously broad-minded for reaching across the aisle to support his progressive "enlightenment." No matter what you think you'd be voting against, THAT is what you'd be voting FOR.

People have given a lot of thought to what would happen if Obama won, and have done it in a vacuum; now, they should give serious, honest thought to what would happen if Romney wins. The consequences would be, IMO, more dire.

And that is exactly where my major problem is: look at the "victory" of 2010. We were so proud. Sarah worked so hard and we did it. What is the result? The whole house keep on voting with obama. As soon as they get in Congress they bail out and follow the flow and lose their guts.

That's the problem. What can we do about that??? Seems hopeless all the way.

Without a strong conservatives as president, we will keep on seeing the Senate and the House acting like cowards, even with new blood, like they are doing now.

Ever cross your mind that the reason they don't is because they agree with him? If they don't agree with him, how could you tell?
