This is a lose-lose proposition all the way around.
Either:
A) Romney as Obama-lite will not play well and give us 4 more years of the Marxist-in-Chief, or;
B) Romney will win and he will disavow any association to Conservative principles; and, not only stab us in the back, but stab us in the front as well.
Like I said, a lose-lose proposition.
This is the point where the Malignant Bastard and architect of failure will rush to his whiteboard on Fox News to explain to us peons how elections work. Having captured the conservative base in the primaries, Romney will now have to move left to attract the minorities, the hispanics, the women, the seniors, the students, the disadvantaged, the moderates, the independents, the squishy middle, the unemployed, the underemployed, the helpless middle class, those who cannot help themselves, the sick and dying, etc, because “everyone” knows you can’t win elections by being an unabashed constitution supporting patriotic traditional American conservative. Romney can now safely revert back to being the big government socialist/progressive he’s always been.
I pick B, Obadiah.
If elected,Romney will be strongly influenced by the GOP-E,ie Rino Central at first.,,ie “We got you elected so let us help you”. Wink, wink.
Ryan, Rove, Preibus, Boehner and the gang will not so gently remind Bishop R. that were not for them, he’d be polishing his smile in the mirror each morning for “Sweetie and the boys” rather than the entire country.
But this hand holding, slobbering union would probably only last for a while..until Mittens manages to break free of the mandates of THE PARTY and throw them under the bus too, along with us Conservatives.
I don’t intend to sit around and wait for all of them to rub their hands together and gleefully manipulate us like puppets...
Its time to leave the GOP to it’s own machinations and failures.. and move on.
