Five people were shot to death, including a toddler, at a house in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert on Wednesday, and a white supremacist border militiaman apparently was among them.
Authorities have not released the victims' identities, but the private militia group U.S. Border Guard reported that one of the dead was Jason "J.T." Ready, its founder. Members of the organization say they arm themselves and patrol the border with Mexico to try to combat "narco-terrorists." Ready also advocated putting a minefield on the border.

Too much has become a media set-up to neutralize any movement against illegal immigration, and to call those who oppose it racists and supremacists. If this dude ran around in front of the media in a Nazi uniform then he was part of the hype and set-up. Ready’s girlfriend, 47-year-old Lisa Lynn Mederos, made a domestic-violence call to 911 asking the police to come help her on Wednesday. Seconds later, the operator heard gunshots and the line went dead.
When police arrived they found the bodies of Lisa Lynn Mederos and her daughter, 23-year-old Amber Nieve Mederos, inside the home. Dead outside were Ready and Amber’s boyfriend, 24-year-old Jim Franklin Hiott.
Amber’s 16-month-old daughter Lily was still alive inside but was pronounced dead soon after at a hospital.
Police say Ready killed them all before fatally turning the gun on himself, saying that all the evidence points to domestic violence.
