Here are a few more articles that add details:
"As she tries to deal with her son's death, Walker says she is left searching for answers. "So I don't know if they put my child up to do this. Did they threaten or scare him to do something like this?" she asked.
Walker says that even with a bandana on, it should have been obvious that Jaqures was just a child.
"I'm going to keep asking and I want to know what happened, the truth, however long it takes. I'm not giving up till I find out the truth," Walker said.

Disturbing photos surface of 13-year-old robbery suspect
LINK "Police says Jaqures Walker had just approached a car and told the male driver to "give it up," when the man pulled a gun, shot and killed Walker. ....Also, one witness told police that two men wearing blue bandanas were watching the robbery and shooting go down. That's another suggestion it could be gang related.
So is there a gang problem in Birmingham? Officer Jamarah Nevitt says there is a gang issue in the city, but a gang problem, he says, is questionable"

Much like Trayon Martin’s parents, when I watch this woman on video I don’t detect even the slightest trace of GRIEF over her son’s death.
She tries to blame others, deny the nature of her son, who was clearly deeply into gang culture, and has that same misguided determination to seek “the truth” and “justice”, but no GRIEF.
I’m not sure if Walker and Martin’s parents never really loved their sons or if deep down they realize that their sons were growing up to be thugs and therefore took the news with a sense of resignation and even relief, but for whatever reason, they don’t display any grief or even sadness over the deaths.

Walker says that even with a bandana on, it should have been obvious that Jaqures was just a child. I'm sorry for your loss but, so what, lady? If you stick a gun in my face I don't care how old you are, what color you are, what sex you are, what your sexual preference is or what your favorite food is. I don't care if you're the founder of the local conservatives club or a veteran with a chest full of medals. You're dead!
"I'm going to keep asking and I want to know what happened, the truth, however long it takes. I'm not giving up till I find out the truth," Walker said.
Take two minutes out of your life and go look at his Facebook page. Now that he's dead. If that's cold then so be it. You're the one who couldn't be bothered to see what he was doing when he was alive.

Yeah - it is just a few of the bad gangs that give the rest a bad name.
