I agree we should stand up for our principles, but we also have to deal with reality. The best thing we can do is stop these huge deficits and get our fiscal house in order. Our interest payments will fund the Chinese military.

Agreed. However, I would refuse to be bullied plus the fact that we would be funding their army as well. It would be like me buying The Son of Sam (David Berkowitz) an AR-15 or an AK-47. Overall, I don't know how on God's Green Earth we will ever pay it off although I believe we should just say "sorry" and punch out and then reorganize with the intention of getting our house in fiscal order as well as return to a more Constitutional based system.
