"In April, Mangum, with Harrs help, filed two motions asking that the murder charges be dismissed and that any trial be held in another county due to media coverage that has followed her since the Duke lacrosse case."
She planted the seeds and now doesn't like the harvest!

It’s a shame the lessons from the Duke case were not heeded by more. In particular, Angela Corey really should have asked Mike Nifong how things work out when prosecutors allow themselves to be stampeded by racial politics into ill-advised charges.

from the article: Attorney General Roy Cooper concluded there was no rape, and former District Attorney Mike Nifong lost his law license over it. Committee members said they believe Mangums initial account and want Nifongs law license reinstated.
Good luck with that. Even Fat Albert Sharpton ran fast in the other direction once this case went sour for the race baiters.

One of the lessons of this case is that false accusers MUST be charged with felonies and locked up. This should have gone to jail for her false accusations against those innocent Duke students. If she had, Reginald Dye would be alive today.
At the time the prosecutor said something about her being mentally unstable and that putting her in jail would not serve any purpose. In fact it would have deterred others from making false accusations and would have saved a man’s life.
Anyone who would make false accusations against another person or persons that could put them in prison is a sociopath and as dangerous as any murderer. No person with any sort of conscience would ever do this. They should be required to serve double the maximum sentences that those they falsely accused were facing.

...and now doesn't like the harvest! Sure about that? She's whack enough to think that losing her atty is a good thing.
