I have read and heard people say all my life that participating in sports builds character.

But, in their defense, they did not specify which character, good or bad.

Again, in defense of the "robber", he probably did not consider that what he was doing was wrong. He only knew, from hearing it all his life form numerous sources, that he was entitled. He understod that the man had it and he wanted it. In his [the robber's]mind, he was only taking what rightfully was his.

Beginning? And what do you mean "we?"
The sowing took place in the 60s/70s and the "reaping" has been going on since then.
And to prove how stupid these "peeps" are - they STILL don't realize they are destroying their entire race.
