As has been said before, “Many Conservatives are just Liberals who have been mugged.”
I’m hoping that my nephew will come around one of these days, due to his being in that category (liberals who’ve been mugged). We’ll see how long it takes. I won’t hold my breath. He’s very stubborn, especially when he’s wrong about something. He’s very much like his father (my ex-BIL).
