I briefly dated a girl in college who was medicated for it. When she was off her meds, it was awful. People laugh at me for telling the story, but if you weren’t there and haven’t experienced it, you really just don’t know.

I once had two very attractive women approach a group of us at a fraternity party in college and ask if anyone would volunteer to take them somewhere and tie them up.

To my own astonishment, none of us moved, volunteered or said a word. Somebody should study that phycological phenomenon. I've always wondered if they found someone to help them out and what could have been. "Dear Penthouse, I never thought it would happen to me...."

Most college girls do things like that just to shine on the boys. I knew several girls in college who would make out with each other or act like heathens just to get a rise out of the guys at parties. It was usually just “good fun,” and seldom did it degrade into anything serious.

However, when you get someone coming up to you and asking you to do something reserved for Penthouse forum, yeah, you’ve gotta stop and take stock for a moment.

In the case of my nympho ex, she was completely normal, smart as a whip, and seemed like a great person when we first met. It wasn’t until after she went off her meds the first time that I realized what I’d gotten myself into.

Somthing similar happened to me in college once in a while. Not the tied up thing, and not two of them, of course, but the Deer In Headlights Freeze. I was given the opportunity to be with one or two women in college that I vapor-locked on.

Later, when you learn it's just not that serious, go ahead, hit that thang! -- that's when you start doing better. The more comfortable I got in my own skin, the more mountain-climbing opportunities I got.

My brother once told me the story about hitchhiking down the mountain at 17 when he was picked up by a van full of young Scandinavian women. They told him he should got there as American men, especially from fabled California, would be popular.

The ONLY reason I believed a single WORD of his story was when he admitted that they dropped him off at school and he didn't get so much as a grope.

No 17 year old male makes up a story about ALMOST scoring on such an epic scale.

But the story sure started out like a “Dear Penthouse, I never thought it would happen to me.....”
