OBL's Death a Victory for the Adults (1 year later, still on the money)

The children are celebrating and taking credit for the death of Osama bin Laden, but make no mistake about it, this is a win for the adults. This will give Obama a short-term boost in the polls, but I submit after a few days or weeks of liberal celebration, reality will start to sink in for more and more Americans.

Now by adults, I mean folks mature enough to understand that the world is a mean place ruled by the aggressive use of power and that the only way to stop evil from ruling is for the good guys to use more power and to use it more aggressively.

One year later (and Dick Cheney with a new heart) and with Obama spiking the football - this might ring true today now more than ever.

That was a good read. I neve heard about the kid born on third base analogy before but it sure suits him to a tee.

The problem is that 0bama shut down the very intelligence gathering capability needed to bring about successes a mere two days after being in office. He’s cut off the information flow for the next round of bad guy hunters...and the world is still a very dangerous place. 190 days and counting left of this nightmare.

Wish I could take credit for that analogy - most that I use are my own - but that one is not. Heard it from a coach in high school and never forgot it. It does fit Obama in so many ways no doubt....
