did some target practice in my backyard with it...My wife yells out the back door..the damn dog just peed all over the floor... so I guess I need to take it to the range,,,

I have improvised a ‘range’ in my secluded front yard, about 500 feet off the road, with a high bank (hill) as a backstop. We have horses and cats, but no dog. The horses are not gun-shy and the cats stay out of target range.
Neighbors do not complain...we have a muzzle-loaders club and range a quarter mile away, so the sound of gun fire is not new around here. We also have neighbors sometimes going after varmints...mostly groundhogs...not nice things to have in pasture areas!
