I think my “representatives and senators” are tired of hearing from me. I email them on a regular basis along with the President and Dept of State. Even the automated responses have stopped coming.

The Republic has been gone a very long time. It left the stage with the fraudulent passage of the 17th amendment. The Republic has been gone so long I certainly can’t remember it.

Who would stand with Obama in a campaign of Supreme Court bashing? Start with the entire AFL-CIO. Then add the entire occupy movement, and the burgeoning 99% Spring uprising, and eventually one could include all the prevailing powers of the Democrat Party. Put them all together, and youve got a critical mass of Americans who neither care nor understand a wit about history, limited government, the U.S Constitution, or the Separation of Powers. This is exactly what I am worried about. While I do strongly believe an overturning of the laws mentioned, I do believe it will not lead to a good overall result.
As we have all been watching the no Executive Power wielded with impunity and 0bama getting more and more reckless with it, I been wondering if they disregard the Constitution and take no steps to formerly overturn it...how can we the people bring them to justice for their treason. At what point does simply bad legislation become treason? And if the whole of our government refuses to uphold the Republic, is it still our government or are we under some pseudo-occupation?
The left and RINO's are bringing our country under socialist occupation and have chosen to disregard the Constitution, the overall governing law of the land. While I still obey the common laws of civil society, I have started to truly question if Washington DC is still my government or if the boot of occupation is being brought to bear on our necks? And if in a few months time the full extent of this occupation is revealed...what then of our Republic?

You are now on the Gov’s “list” no doubt, along with a whole bunch of the rest of us. The next step will no doubt be a visit from DHS’s SS troops at 3am.

I’m pretty sure I’m on a “list” somewhere. But if those jackasses show up at 3 AM they had better bring coffee.

We were all put on the list just prior to April 15th, 2009.

The fact is that when Presidents and members of Congress dismiss the Constitution as Mr. Obama and his party have, the only thing standing between the individual citizen and the raw, brutal force of governmental power is the Supreme Court itself.
And about 300 million weapons the ammunition and the determination to use them to prevent a massive takeover by the Marxists. JMHO.

"So is America serious about a constitutional government?" A majority of Americans, unfortunately, don't have a clue what is in the Constitution, much less how a constitutional government is limited in scope of governance.

You only need to hang about 10,000 of the leading Marxists before the rest of the Marxists start getting the idea. And there are still plenty of lampposts left over for when needed.

My plan is to be arrested early on, and grab a top bunk in the Camp.
That, or Heads On Pikes!
I’m not liking the choices, frankly.

You're right. In fact, probably the majority of the electorate doesn't know that we have a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. And if you ask them what the function of government is, my guess is that a sizable number, perhaps a majority, will say that the government's job is to provide the citizens with material benefits of various kinds, things like education, medical care, welfare, etc. They have no clue as to the idea of the Founders that government exists to secure the liberties of a free people, and that's it. Everything beyond that is not a Constitutional mandate, but things that we are to decide using the tools provided by the tenets of the Constitutional Republic. The growth of the federal government into the monstrosity it has become has been driven in large part by the substitution in the desires of the electorate for material comfort rather than liberty. The conflation of material well-being with individual liberty is perhaps the most insidious manner by which tyrants and demagogues attain power.

They don’t answer their emails or calls anymore because THEY DON’T CARE!
Personally I think the American populace is fat and lazy and doesn’t really give a shart about their freedoms anymore. Not enough of us are willing to go to bat for the freedoms we have lost.

Nominating Romney is a sign that no people are Not serious about saving the republic. All me me me mentality.

"The conflation of material well-being with individual liberty is perhaps the most insidious manner by which tyrants and demagogues attain power." Well said, and the tyrants and demagogues are not just limited to one political party!
