Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is known for playing around with all kinds of mobile tech, even if it competes with iOS devices.
Wozniak recently bought Nokia's new Lumia 900 Windows Phone, and shared some of his thoughts on Microsoft's Mobile platform in a podcast interview with The Report. (The Verge first picked up the interview).
Overall, Wozniak says he prefers the look and feel of Windows Phone apps over Android and iPhone apps. He also likes Windows Phone better overall than Android.
We had similar feelings towards Windows Phone apps when we reviewed the Lumia 900. Many apps such as Evernote, Spotify, Foursquare, and Facebook look a lot better than their Android and iPhone counterparts.
Here are a few key quotes from Woz's interview:
"I definitely favor the Windows 7 phone over Android." "[Windows Phone apps are] much more beautiful than the same apps on Android and iPhone" "[Windows Phone] is more beautiful than the other platforms" "[I feel like] I'm more with a friend than with a tool."

No. No. No. Yer Wrong. NO NO NO NO. How wrong can you be? Admit how wrong you are. Even your wrongness is in error. Stuff you didn’t even say is also untrue. Nothing you wrote has a shred of truth. LIAR. Stop being wrong. Inaccuracies abound. Things you say are off. Your facts are in question. Everything you wrote is disproven. Go look it up on Snopes. Why do you persist in your erroneous ways.
"A friend of yours" did eh? Chuckle! And that suddenly makes you an expert on the widely acclaimed and praised Windows Phone 7 interface?
Apple fan-girls will always be Apple fan-girls. The most close minded, retrogressive, retarded humans I have ever met!
You'll get no argument from me on that one, said the red-haired green eyed gal : )
And you forgot the mayonnaise vs. ketchup on hamburgers and the over or under on the great toilet paper roll controversy.
I’ve used Windows, iPhone, and Android. The latter two are similar so that’s a toss up. But I absolutely hated the Windows phone I had. Very clunky compared to the others.
Office 2007 is everything bad about Microsoft. It’s a freaking overwrought disaster. I detest it; and it is everywhere.
No, T-Mobile unlimited is cheaper than AT&T. Which is why I can't consider the Lumia 900.
My point wasn’t who had a cheaper data plan....my point is that you HAVE to have a data plan, for smart phones, tablets, etc., etc., ad nauseum.
That's obvious. My initial point was AT&T's plan is too expensive.
TMobile cheaper for unlimited data. So no Lumia 900 for me.
Computers, firearms, cars/trucks/motorcycles, etc. You can start a "spirited discussion" about anything people are passionate about. As a good friend pointed out - people tend to be really passionate about other people and food. She is adamant about this link and we've discussed it at length. She makes a far better case for it than I could ever summarize here.
Red and green eh? Sigh... ;-)
