One of Mitt Romney's top advisers said Saturday that President Obama's decision to bailout Chrysler and General Motors was actually Romney's idea.
"[Romney's] position on the bailout was exactly what President Obama followed. I know it infuriates them to hear that," Eric Fehrnstrom, senior adviser to the Romney campaign, said.
"The only economic success that President Obama has had is because he followed Mitt Romney's advice."

Mitt has some explaining to do. I hope this top adviser is wrong.

Are they really that out of touch with their base, and what they think of Obama’s bailouts? If so, we’re in big trouble.

First Romney/Obamacare, now we have more taxpayer dollars with Romney/Obama auto bailouts. These two are one and the same. If Romney wins (God forbid) we’ll still have four more years of Obama.
Lord help us!

I can’t stand Mitt, but I can’t believe he would stiff the bondholders in favor of the unions.

One of Mitt Romney's top advisers said Saturday that President Obama's decision to bailout Chrysler and General Motors was actually Romney's idea.
And that's why America is in deep trouble no matter who wins this November. Romney might - might - be better than Obama on energy and a few other domestic issues. But Romney, like Obama, is a true believer in the power of government to "get things done". A GOP majority in one and possibly both houses of Congress means Obama will never get another major legislative initiative accomplished. Romney will, and his legislation will for the most part be indistinguishable from Obama's. And the GOP will tell conservatives to shut up and like it.

I’m not going to have any hair left by November.A curse on the political class who have brought this country to this sorry point in it’s history.

For Romneys Trusted Adviser, Etch A Sketch Comment Is a Rare Misstep:
Eric Fehrnstrom is Mitt Romneys David Axelrod... -- snip --
And so it was curious that when Mr. Fehrnstrom on Wednesday reached for a word to describe how Mr. Romney might pivot to the general election, the one that came tumbling from his mouth was Etch A Sketch, the childrens drawing toy in which nothing is ever permanent.

Governor Romney holds out Erics counsel almost above all else, said Gail Gitcho, the campaigns communications director. He certainly is keeper of the Romney record. Hes been there from Day One.
And this guy is still working for the Romney campaign WHY?

Mitt has some explaining to do. 20 years in politics as a multifaced liberal socialist hack pretending to be a conservative and NOW he has some explaining to do?

The GOP picked a hell of a time to launch a war on conservatives. Even if Romney could beat 0bama (he can't) the GOP will not survive and IMO that is a good thing.
Perhaps we can start running conservatives once again and save the country before it's too late.

WTF is the matter with this idiot?
Are they really stupid enough to try to claim they were for the bailouts?
Most stupid thing I ever heard.
