Such diplomatic joint exercises are nothing new. They won’t be sharing any state secrets. Infantry related accommodations are as difficult as ever, no doubt. Maybe the visit and increasing familiarity will make for slightly better relations in Asia.

The only interest Russia has in the terror-war is that as much of it is visited upon the United States as possible.

They get along well with Obozo and his evil regime as they’re liars as well!

Maybe the Russians will teach the secret service how to handle hookers.

They are allowing high ranking Chinese Army (PLA) observers to watch this exercise, and that Venezuelans may also be present.

Something to keep in mind....

One of the criticisms of John Milius's scenarization in Red Dawn, and a "proof" of the film's "impossibility", was that the forces depicted were very thin, and the premise of invasion from Mexico blinked the probability that there would have to have been a war in Mexico first (that we lost) for the Cubans and Russians and their allies to have reached their jumping-off points.

Re the "thinness" of the invasion force, the Chinese could certainly make that go away, even if the Russians didn't.

And oh, by the way, the Chinese already have latent control of the Panama Canal, and a substantial force-in-being of "workers" down there.

“Well d*^&-it We didn’t come all this way to put it in the drink...Gimme the nearest Target of Opportunity!!!”

“Fire the Explosive Bolts!!!”

—Now I know what we’re going to watch tonight!!!

I had a girlfriend over one night (years ago), and I told her I wanted her to go to the video store and pick up a copy of “Dr. Strangelove” so we could watch it on my new VCR machine...

She kinda hesitated and said, “Steve, I don’t really like to go into the backroom at THOSE places!!!”

Hehehe, she sure was cute about the whole thing...

With ex-KGB Putin at the head of this evil regime (Under Obozo we have one as well) there will be no camaraderie; rather more espionage under the aegis of the current administration.
