Some may, but there’s a lot of smart people out there too. They know, they have to know, that their positions of power and influence depend, absolutely depend on their place in the current system.

A lot of them, Republicans and Democrat, have been playing — have been allowed to play — with the political machinery without any real inkling of the real nature of those forces. Obama’s new “eat-the-rich” meme is getting uncomfortably close to their own carefully tended gardens.
I don’t see them all going down without a fight.
