I agree! Let the people know what they are supporting and is it strong enough to get them what they expect- is it attainable and not just hope in “IT JUST HAS TO BE” because ...!
NEWT is still in the race - brought to you by FR. Have a money bomb. So don’t blame FR for anything. Ignoring the obvious - you whine at your own peril. Reminder save your whine for the gov’t cheese full of holes and mold many voted for.
Hey! That's good to know!
The mormons are GRATEFUL for THIS bigotry.
Why dont you fire of a message to Salt Lake City about bigotry? Tell them to call home the 52,000 missionaries who are out there proclaiming to Christians that their faith is bogus and the only way to salvation is by becoming mormons and taking part in arcane temple rituals.
The mormons are GRATEFUL for THIS bigotry.
We are grateful for the 52,225 full-time missionaries serving in more than 150 countries.16 The sun never sets on righteous missionaries testifying of the Savior mormon church. Think of the spiritual power of 52,000 missionaries, endowed with the Spirit of the Lord Joseph Smith, boldly declaring that there is no other name given nor any other way nor means whereby salvation can come
, only in and through the name of Christ. mormon church temple rituals
"My young brethren of the priesthood, I testify of the majesty, but most of all, of the certainty of this magnificent event. The Savior lives. He will return to the earth (the Second Coming) . And whether on this side of the veil or the other, you and I will rejoice in His coming and thank the Lord that He sent us to earth at this time to fulfill our sacred duty of helping prepare the world for His return the mormon theocracy
."other people, who may not yield full obedience to his laws, nor be fully instructed in his covenants, will, nevertheless, have to yield full obedience to his government. For it will be the reign of God upon the earth, and he will enforce his laws, and command that obedience from the nations of the world which is legitimately his right (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: John Taylor [2001], 225).

Well then since you took the honor as spokesman for Americans - tell them it's not about bigotry but EVIL and explain why. Are you up to the task, spokesman?
Don’t worry about typos - your post far excels any typos from me, you and 10 others!
You mean the religious bigotry of the very foundation of mormonism?
This reminds me of the hysteria about John Kennedy being a Catholic and whether he would be a puppet of the Pope. Folks, we’re electing a president, not a high priest!

Exactly, hootowl. Remember the howls that Kennedy would change the name of the Statue of Liberty to Our Lady of the Harbor?
Comparison of mormonism to catholicism might not be as apt as a comparison between mormonism and scientology, with a faint aftertaste of muslim domesticity.
If you like, you could imagine Tom Cruise announcing on Oprah that he’s bouncing off her sofa and into the oval office on the Republican ticket...if his whiteness and a gold key to the GOP executive washroom would be all you need to comfort your heart for the next four years, well then, I really have little to add. I certainly would have no proof Tom Cruise would be worse than Obama.
I certainly would not deserve to be announced a bigot or a traitor if I held an informed opinion that his devotion to Scientology gave me concerns both to his state of mind and his future priorities amd performance as President.
You seem to be more than a little biased about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members, even if your uncle is a former Bishop. And you are wrong on the facts. This, however, is not a time to launch a religious war (offensive or defensive) or fan the flames of religious prejudice and misunderstanding. It is a time to recognize the core evil we are fighting and pull together. Focusing on religious hyperbole (which looks and smells a lot like religious racism), and accusing Mormons of being brain dead about our beliefs plays only into the hands of the evil left.
I am a life-long Mormon and given time and opportunity I would be happy to explain why. Trust me, I know the truth in what I believe, and yet I know there is much about eternity, science, life and light, not to mention religion, yet to be learned. And I know Mitt. (Went to the same law school, attended Church in the same building, even interviewed once at his company). But I did not support him during the primaries. I wish he were more conservative.
Hopefully, the primaries have pushed him to the right. But if he becomes the nominee, I darn sure will support him. And not because I know him and am a member of his religion. And not because I want a Mormon in the White House (I don’t). And not because I believe Mitt will become less opportunistic and less of a pragmatic utilitarian who bases his decisions on cost-benefit calculations. (I can hope). I will support him for one reason only. Because I believe Obama MUST be defeated.
In the meantime, I heartily recommend the commentary on this subject by Dennis Prager. He is speaking with much wisdom:
Mormonism was founded upon Joe Smith’s extreme religious bigotry. When the sleazy obamanoid media finish showing Catholics what MormonISM is and how it started, I doubt even a liberal republican Catholic will vote for the ‘melchizedek high priest’ in MormonISM.
What did I say that was incorrect?
I don’t just have an uncle who is lds, I have many, many lds family and friends.
I know mormonism.
I never accused mormons of being brain dead about mormonism, but I might use that phrase in the future.
I do not support liberals whether they have an R or a D by their name.
Romney is a liberal, he is who he is because of his mormonism not in spite of it.
Interesting article.
However, mormonism is not Christianity, no matter what Prager implies. Joseph Smith was very clear about that.
We’re talking 6.1 million Mormons in a population base of about 310 million. I’m thinking we could survive.
I’m not voting for the POS, but this is not the reason.
The space he took in that seat was as far as his commitment went to his church - he was obeying the commandment 'keep holy the sabbath day' for himself, not the church.
Surely, you can see the difference in the involvement between Mitt as Bishop in Mormonism and Kennedy in Catholicism.
Folks, were electing a president, not a high priest!
Is this person you say your want to elect a high priest already? Seems you want to place a high priest into the oval office. Your analogy would only work if we elected a Catholic Bishop/Archbishop for President.
Now, you aren't speaking for me - because I voted for NEWT, and he is STILL on the ticket. He's a historian of our great country and a fighter for our Constitution to be adhered to and with plans to undo some of damages already done and put it on the right track. The strengths of any President should be in AMERICA and that is where Newt's strength is and what mitt is VOID of!
“You seem to be more than a little biased about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members, even if your uncle is a former Bishop. And you are wrong on the facts.”
Drive-by blank accusations are the height of intellectual dishonesty.
You’ve already received one request to name the statements uou believe to be inaccurate, let me add mine.
Whatever your claim, I speculate church documentation will most likely be the response ;^)
Just sayin’
Whatever your claim, I speculate church documentation will most likely be the response ;^)
Don't hold your breath waiting on that "documentation" thingy. No part of mormonism can be defended by the bible, except those parts directly plagiarized from the bible by J.Smith, King James era English and all. Some he stole from Free masons, the rest he made up himself.
The Old as well as the New Testament, however has plenty to say about false prophets and none of it is good.
“Folks, were electing a president, not a high priest!”
Except that Mitt is a bishop and former stake president, meaning he is very much a high priest of his Mormon religion. One who has admitted to performing baptism of the dead.
Excellent book!
