I don't take for granted that they were conservatives nor why they were zotted.

I personally know people who were zotted, and some who are now quiet because of the threat. Conservatives who just think that there is a worse Thing than Romney, conservatives who wanted to support one of the best conservative candidates we had this election, Rick Perry—just for starters. Conservatives who rightly pointed out that Herman Cain was a flim flam man with lots of problems. The list goes on.
