Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.
Ross Perot oughta be a good lesson to remember right about now.
“Believe me I am extremely conservative, but feel that it is more important to remove Obama than anything else.”
Amen to that.
Bravo, FRiend! BRAVO
Nope. But I started a killer Campbells soup thread and got yelled at by some posters because it had more "hits" than political threads. :-)
Adieu.
Hello to a few friends I haven’t seen in a while.
What a meltdown! I miss the old days. There is no simple human respect here anymore and opinions are homogenized, everybody is in lock step. A few shrieking, tattletale banshees, operating with the approval of the owner and moderators, spend their days and nights on patrol enforcing the one site/one mind rule. They have managed to run off just about anybody with a brain (or a dollar.) They are at it on this very thread. They remind me of high school mean girls and have turned internet bullying into a blood sport. New posters are welcomed with scorn and ridicule and accused of being trolls just because they havent been here since day one. Thats a great way to attract new people.
I left FR a while back because I got tired of the attacks against me and like minded people because we were from Texas and we supported Governor Perry. Many of the Texas contingent left FR and took their dollars with them during that time. We were honestly blind sided and shell shocked by our treatment. Governor Perry may not be the most articulate man in the world, he is not perfect, but he is conservative, a patriot, a Christian, knows how to attract business and a heck of an improvement over Mitt. You only have to look at Texas to know he cant be the complete dunce his FR detractors claim he is. What was wrong with supporting a conservative?
I thought long and hard before I withdrew my financial support. When I wrote JimRob to object to the tone on the Perry threads I reminded him Texas had been good to FR and it was a mistake to allow such loyal supporters to be mistreated. He could have made room on FR to civilly discuss the pros and cons of all the candidates. Or he could have insisted posters disagree respectfully. But he didnt. I got the cold shoulder as did many of us during that time. You reap what you sow.
Im sad to see what FR has become and truly miss what it used to be. If I get zotted for speaking my mind that is fine, I dont post anymore and rarely read the comments because who wants to read the same thought over and over again. There isnt any free speech on FR these days and I am not into having free opinion stifled. Reading the same approved opinions over and over again is boring. I feel vindicated seeing how many people are posting similar feelings on this thread.
That pic certainly shows your resolution!
So to speak ...............
I don’t talk politics on facebook. For one reason my daughter asked me not to ... it’s a social network.
I did slip up and post something about “all America is praying for Bo ... he’s so dang yummy looking.”
But it was okay because nobody had a clue what I was talking about.
You would think the whole point of activism is to change minds. But if you reject those who come to your view, then what’s the point.
“Well, in blasting the only option available, that is exactly what is happening. Those that are too young need to Google Ross Perot.”
Amen.
Haha.. guess some people don't want to mix food with their politics. But I think food should always be "in bounds," frankly.. ;)
I fear the site might implode if we dare go there!
We may not get along but that was darn funny!! LOL
Sweet! Civ
I agree with you wholesale.
Please avoid misconstruing my post.
I believe we are still responsible before God to exercise our voting rights
EVEN THOUGH I do NOT believe that the voting is anything functionally but an ALMOST totally globalist controlled charade, farce, exercise in futility.
Absolutely!
Perhaps you can point out where deoetdoctrinae pointed out on his homepage that the picture in question was a relative and not just a general pic to express their view?
If it's there, I missed it.
Jim, are you a liar??You've just been called one in no uncertain terms.
That post caused a disturbing flashback to the chick with the rainbow fonts.
