Everyone please send whatever you are able to, whether it is $10, $100 or $1,000+. The DUmmies, Morons, Kos Kiddies and that crew are laughing up their sleeves. Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

Unfortunately that policy leaves very little to discuss on FR regarding the presidential election, a subject of considerable interest to most of us. I will respect the rules, after all it’s Jim’s property, but those rules are going to reduce the number of comments and Freepers substantially.
It’s hard to see how FR survives if any support for the only available choice that can beat Obama results in removal.
If nothing changes it’s going to be really lonely around here on election day.

My “beef” is simply being called a liar when I am accused of opposing your principles, which I happen to share.
I asked for evidence of where I opposed your principles and all I got was evasion and attack.
Voting ABO is not turning away from consertavism. That is my story and I am sticking to it.

The primaries were rigged this year and that made it very difficult for many candidates to even get on the ballots in some states. It was done on purpose and by the RNC to push Romney and don't doubt Rove was behind it.
The Tea Party sent a message during the 2010 interim elections; in Wisconsin; Utah and with Lugar. There is a clear resistance to moderates/progressives/liberals taking over the republican party...either you are a part of the battle or you cave and kiss the conservative movement goodbye. Romney's record is extremely liberal. Fact's are facts!
Unfortunately Jim, its him or Obama. Sitting on the sidelines denigrating Romney will only help Obama, and will ruin FR. 95% of conservatives will actively vote for Romney...because its a vote against Obama.
Insulting them will only hurt you and your website.
Beyond that, if Romney wins, you will be irrelevant...it is only the Republican Party that listens to the far right at all, and if he wins despite your opposition, you will have no seat at the table. Its not personal Jim, its politics American style.
If Obama wins, the country may never recover, and all conservatives will be irrelevant. It really is that bad.. I can't stand by and allow that by inaction or help him by tearing down his opponent, regardless of how liberal Mitt is.
Neither should you or Free Republic. Obama must go.
