Across the border of El Paso, Texas...

Interestingly enough, El Paso has one of the lowest murder rates of any city in the US.

several years ago, my husband and I were down in El Paso for a football game, we took the tour bus over to Juarez...except we weren't content to stay on the bus...we got off and walked over to the grocery mart looking for bargains, etc...geesh, what a couple of dopes...

of course many years before that, we DROVE our little truck with our two little kids over there...we were pursued from the border by a guy who wanted to "guide" us....again, we just didn't know...

I remember how poor the area was...dry, dusty...the littlest kids with dead eyes would go from table to table in the outdoor tavern area selling chicklets...they kept circling..repeating the same lines every time...poor little things....

Mexican drug cartels continue their deadly campaigns of narco-terrorism

Campaigns motivated and financed by the hyperinflated drug profits created by our War On Drugs.
