Well I hope this is ture, but doesn’t Romney have a way of “evolving” after the election?

But Romney is a political mercenary. IF he wins, conservatives need to hold his feet to a very big fire.

I suspect Rombama will evolve before the election but after he has secured the nomination. In his own mind he will be going for the "independent" voters. He will, however, be thus kicking away many of such conservative voters as had chosen to bite the bullet and support him and will actually move more of those independents to go ahead and vote for the real Obama rather than for the Republican half-assed clone.
