The lesser of two evils is still evil. I compromised my values and pulled the lever for McCain't solely because Sarah Palin was on the ticket. I swore after Juan McCain't treated conservatives like a cheap whore that I'd never compromise my values in the same manner again [see mom I DID learn the stove is hot].
To your tagline - I remember the price paid for freedom....many of mine didn't make it home and 11 days before you became a FReeper, I was bleeding out on a rooftop in a 3rd world muslim shit hole. I didn't do that to compromise my values and vote out one marxist for another just because he has an "R" by his name.
Further Romney doesn't have "courage" to run against 0......our betters in the GOPe think it's "his turn." You can't "fine tune" abortion, socialized medicine, fag "marriage" and every other socialist and globalist agenda Myth supports. You're either an American, or a communist/socialist.......if you think you can "fine tune" an elitist like Romney.....you're probably on the wrong site.
Second, I said I'd never vote for a RINO again, but I will have to eat my words if we're going to stop the present administration.
Lastly, I believe that it does take courage to run for public office against a Chicago thug. You have to worry 24 hours a day about physical harm to your family or yourself from your opposition or his fanatical followers. I know from painful experience that contributing even modest amounts of money to conservative causes can put you in the cross hairs of the IRS; months and years later they let you go, but not until they've had a great deal of fun at your expense — even though you might be innocent of any wrongdoing. Liberals with power and no sense of decency can torment outspoken conservatives a thousand miserable ways. I think courage is a must.
